There are 3 different shapes of stone used here; the 2 stones on the West are flat slabs;the centre stone is a rounded boulder; and the upright on the left is more rectangular in section. Some kind of a code of sorts maybe,who knows?
The broken stump can only be guessed at now, there is no sign of the missing part,(although there was a rumour it had been seen on a chat show talking about the "good old days,but i don't believe that one".) |
