Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This is one of 4 larger barrows on a large triangle shaped field and wooded area. Accessable from all sides real well. Explanation sign by the road. Very close to a farm.
In late summer the entire area is blooming with pink and purple heather - beautiful.
Barrows give a good outlook over the fields around. View also goes over to Heeder Tannen, only a few 100 meters away.
This forest area is a lovely walking site and contains about 400 (!) tumuli in different shapes and conditions.
Nobody really knows about them though, no signs, no hints, and most people think they are dunes as those are around, too! |
