Description I had this tomb on my list for a long time.
But all the information I had was a one liner in the
accompaning book of the 'Kulturkarte Schleswig-Holstein'.
With a stroke of luck an old lady in Kupfermühle gave the
right hint. It is hidden in the bushes of a traffic island
near the B200 that leads to Denmark, just 1km from
the border.
I have few further information, but the painted numbers inside
the tomb show that it was reconstructed. That old lady
had seen some 'archeological activities' with 'some big stones'
up there when she was young.
Question remains how could this tomb find a way into
the tourist information. There is no path or official
sign whatsoever. Hidden in the bushes, and I was lucky
to look for it in this time of year. As I stood on the parking place
of the opposite shopping center (Obviously a danish shop
on german ground selling alcohol to border crossers)
I could hardly see the capstones through the bushes.
Actually you have to walk arround to the bridge right
there and walk up the stairs to the B200 freeway.
Then you look for a gap right hand where you can jump
over the wet ditch.
The construction is medium in size and reminds to
the typical dolmens seen near in Schleswig-Holstein.
But the construction on the small ends is unusual because
there is an assembly of three / four / five stones,
instead of a single othostat.
