The magnificent large older stone age elk (figur 7) measures 2m x 1,75m. There are also 12 smaller and more stylized late stone age animals (figuren 3-6, 8, 10-15) and a fragment of an animal (figur 9) visible in this picture. The carvings were painted to enhance visibility as this is one rock art site which is open to the public, but the paint is partly washed away. |
