Description The dowsing plan to match Hamish's kite aerial shot.
Plan was drawn up in 2001 - the missing title [bad earlier scan] = 'Houndtor Stone Circle Kistvaen', which is what I was told to call it at the time.
The 'labyrinth processional route' is something that has only cropped up at the Comet Stone at Brodgar, and the Ox Burial at Bryn Celli Ddu, so far, and I've dowsed many, many sites.
Here, the 'square thing' that the procession moves around to the west [lower part of plan] is intriguing.

If you check out the latest submission on Bryn Celli Ddu (the artist's impression of the Ox Burial site there from the official noticeboard), you'll see a small rectangular enclosure a couple of yards/meters outside the entrance to the tomb's passage. [The front of which will be in line with the present small stones at the site.] Though this ring cairn isn't nearly as big as BCD, maybe there was a similar erection in the mysterious 'square area' above? I do dowse for the earliest activity at the sites' height of importance, and perhaps picked up on this.
