They were built at the age of the Copper and contained 2 statues - menhirs (today deposited in museums). A copy in cement of a statue was organized on the site.
Graves were cremations graves and they had to have a roof in corbelled construction. Maybe looked they like languedocian "capitelles" which are ancient dry stoneherdsmen huts similar to the "clochans" of Ireland.
Some are of stretched out forms and the others more circular.
Of the summit of the hill where is implanted the archeological site, sight is magnificent on kilometres. |
