|Description ||With the ancient sacred hill of Glastonbury Tor in the background, the Holy Thorn tree on Wearyall Hill is where Joseph of Arimathea planted his staff. Just a story of course, but the thorn tree is of a type that comes from the middle east and it flowers at Christmas when a sprig is sent to the reigning monarch.
A sepia treatment of this photograph gives it an antique mysterious quality and shows that brightly coloured photographs are not the only way.|
