| Posted Comments: cosmic (2009-09-01) | I'm puzzled - is this the same stone from different angles or what? | davidmorgan (2009-09-01) | There are two stones about 50 metres apart in separate fields. In one of the earlier photos you can see them both. | BazCross (2009-09-02) | This is a very wide angle view of the NE Piper. It's strange how the familiar shape changed so much once I had walked around to the 'hedge' side of the stone. I didn't notice the unusual profile until the image was downloaded. | AngieLake (2009-09-02) | I thought doing a couple of 'triple' views of the other stone was a good way of seeing its different sides, [see here] http://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=a312&file=index&do=showpic&pid=25416
but on that visit the NE Piper's field of corn had just been cut, so didn't hang about there. I did comment under one I've posted how it looks amazingly different from other angles. My old camera pics aren't as sharp as these. |
