can find a beautiful forest called the 'Dooren'
or 'Dohrn'. This is unforgetable and
it is safe in the top ten places to go if you
want to see the beauty of the megaliths.
(well, at least in northern Germany)
Three of the four Long Barrows in the 'Dohrn'
are lined up like pearls on a string, this first
one being the best preserved.
Length 51m, 8m wide. Almost all kerbstones are
there, and still standing lined up in position.
In the middle an Extended Dolmen, with
a chamber 3m x 2.5m, and two capstones still
resting.
