Description Julliberries Grave Long Barrow Neolithic. @ TR 077532. Near Chilham. 44m long 14.6m wide 2.1m high. Evidence of a 1.5m deep Ditch on E, W and S sides. The barrow was constructed from turf covered with chalk ( no stone burial chamber). Flint axe head dated 2000 BC found in turf core. A chalk pit has damaged part of the northern end at which time burials may have been destroyed. Romano-british burials (A.D.50) found in upper layer of ditch.
