The chamber was hidden until it was excavated in 1970.
It is a 'Holsteiner Kammer' with an entrance in the southern long side.
All the orthostats, including those of the entrance, are in 'situ';
sadly all the capstones are missing.
Size of the chamber 8m x 2.1m to 2.3m.
The hunebed once was framed by no less then 108 mighty stones. |
