(2011-02-09) | According to the book"Uriel's Machine" the triangle of light seen here (and very well captured too) is a deliberate part of the design. The theory goes that around the time of the winter solstice the sun would be low enough in the sky for the triangle to find it's way up the pillar. The day's when it reached the cuts in the pillar would signify certain date's.
It does work, as this photo shows. A lower, winter sun, would reach up the pillar. | Martin L

(2011-07-12) | The cuts in the pillar are where the ancients poured the water or milk just like the Olmecs and Brahman.
