(2009-04-12) | Pab - in Paul Call's similar photo you can see several similar stones in the background. They look as if they're built into a hedge or bank. (Reminds me of Merry Maidens field). Could those have been part of a larger stone circle/rows, etc? | AngieLake

(2009-04-12) | Hi Angie - I noticed the line of stones set in a long bank - I'll post a couple of photos I took so that people can see what they think. We hadn't actually gone looking for these stones, just came across them while out walking, which is always an extra delight! We also came across a few quartz stones - though of you, as I know you like them - will post later. |
