According to Sprockhoff, none of the stones visible at the eastern end of the barrow were in situ in 1929. Judging from the current situation at least 2 of them (No. 9 and 11) are in situ. This is very interesting, as No. 11 most probably is the eastern chamber-end stone. As the western chamber-end is definitely in situ (No. 1), the length of the chamber approximately was 21m (May 2008). |
