Description Eastern part. The numbers refer to the sketch plan.
According to Sprockhoff, none of the stones visible at the eastern end of the barrow were in situ in 1929. Judging from the current situation at least 2 of them (No. 9 and 11) are in situ. This is very interesting, as No. 11 most probably is the eastern chamber-end stone. As the western chamber-end is definitely in situ (No. 1), the length of the chamber approximately was 21m (May 2008).
