They give such a fantastic view of these sites, far better than any words or ground pictures can do, | AngieLake (2009-06-03) | This is a lovely site. Spent a while soaking up the atmosphere here last month, whilst walking back from Ding Dong mine. Set as it is on the highest part of the southern end of a long N/S ridge, it has great views all around, including a glimpse of St Michael's Mount, and a view NE to St Ives Bay. Maybe it was a large chieftain's house before it became a cairn? |
