Description Unlike other reports of this site and unlike the aerial photo on the COFLEIN site, it was fairly clear of gorse around the actual structure when we visited on 27 Feb 2009.
We did have great problems finding where the OS-marked footpath was supposed to get through the new fencing.
The longer walk from the lane due north (to Rhos y Clegryn) was much easier, and that lane itself was like walking back centuries!
