Contact them for permission to reproduce it. | | | Description | According to the noticeboard at the Barrow Wake viewpoint near Crickley Hill (NGR: SO931153) in 1879 a workman extracting stone from a quarry in the area of this picture, uncovered three skeletons in a stone-lined tomb. One was a woman around 35 years old and she was accompanied by a beautiful bronze mirror - The Birdlip Mirror. This can now be seen in Gloucester Museum along with other finds which included a silver brooch, bronze bowls and a necklace of amber, shale and marble beads.
