(2009-01-04) | Wow - thanks for these photos tfar. That's an extreme form of protection but I heard it was under serious threat so perhaps it's justified. | tfar
(2009-01-04) | Both Hagar Qim and Mnajdra are totally exposed to the elements and a the west-facing outer orthostats at Hagar Qim, especially, have suffered serious erosion over the years. These 'tents' are planned to last some 25-30 years and can be removed without impacting the sites. |
