Description This alignment is true east west 4 days after the autumn equinox and an equal day/ night for this area and taken from within chun castle which I think may be a conversion of an earlier stone circle . The gate stones and outer pointer stone surviving stones ? Chun quoit and its cup mark are also on this alignment.

I don't think this "alignment" works for two reasons. 1. This photo is not taken from the centre of the "circle", and 2. looking at this photo the "outer pointer stone" appears to be the right hand stone of a gateway on the outer rampart.

the photo is taken from a pointer stone which has split in two where the diagonal quartz vein passes through and you can see a slow sweep of stones to the south all to the back of the castle.the quoit is about 100m infront in the same allignment with hole in top of cap which also follows the profile of the hill . The dip in the hill is a footpath locals use that follows down to the local church. There is also the outline carving of celtic knotwork on the rocks to the right on hilltop. The centre of your circle is the castle circle not the stones
