Visited there for first time this year - wonderful place - and I think line of headland halfway towards the horizon is the same as in the photo I posted. Happy to go back and check though! | paulcall (2008-10-06) | The top of the stone and the pattern of lichen look very similar to one of the two photos you posted, as well as the headland. I think the identification is confirmed. Thanks Peter. | mountainman (2008-11-29) | Yes -- this looks like the Harold Stone -- close to the lime kiln. Assumed to be Bronze Age, like most of the other standing stones in Pembrokeshire. |
