There's also a hill called "The Smatcher" and for stones folk... "Burl Hill". LOL.
The line of the enclosure would have been close to the field boundary IIRC. I guess the main thing would have occured somewhere inside the vast rim of 1600 tree trunks... | AngieLake (2008-09-24) | 'The Smatcher' sounds funny. Does it mean anything in local lingo? [Can see Jim Carrey in the title role!]
