(2004-05-04) | This is only one of 3 dolmens on the Ta' Cenc plateau. It is known as Id-Dura tal-Mara, literally "the lady's hut". (Loses a bit in the translation one feels).
Feel (relatively) safe when viewing - bird shooting on this plateau is now forbidden although the Gozitans tend to side with Hamlet in such matters in that the custom is more honoured in the breach than the observance! |
