Having had such trouble locating the site, I thought a photo of the area, taken from the parking bays, would help others.
(We laughed at the village name - 'Darite' - as we were more often than not on 'Da wrong' road!) We were travelling there from the Hurlers, using an OS map, but after visiting St Cleer Well I formed the opinion that it might be a whole lot easier to come up from that direction, as it is almost a straight road, and there is a well-placed sign pointing to it. (We had seen a sign earlier, but several junctions after that had no indication.) Talk about pixie-led! |
