The well-worn coastal path is in the foreground, and another path branches off down the spine of the headland to the surviving entrance to the cliff castle. The wall of large stones can be seen clearly, though the defensive ditch on the southern side is rather shallow. This is a composite image from two photographs, and the distortion has made the headland look more domed than it really is. |
