Similar to other wedge-shaped grave tombs on the Dingle Peninsula, it is surrounded by walls of upright stones and roofed over by very large flat stones Originally covered covered with a pile of small stones and earth making a cairn, it is wider at one end and the head is higher than the foot. Facing west, it is from the Neolithic or late Bronze Age. |
