Burial Chamber 4000 B.C
Site still being excavated
Walkways over the top with a hole cut in so you can look down, not much to see though. Entrance very narrow impossible to get right into chamber.

(2004-07-27) | I'm not an expert but does this site not resemble te one I have seen in Newgrange on the banks of the Boyne, Ireland?

(2006-04-17) | Well, I was a bit puzzled that it was so elaborate and with small stones and dated 4000 BC, as I never saw a megalith around being publicly dated earlier than 3000 BC. "They" date it from the calcholitic (early bronze), 2000 tp 1600 BC (here and in other places on the web). I would prefer it to be earlier, as it might allow me to think that the regular "antas" might have some 7000 years or more. Who knows. | noelpbrowne
(2007-06-11) | At first glance, it looks very similar to Newgrange. However, Newgrange has much rock art, the mound is mainly stone and earth and has a quartz facade. Entrance is also much bigger. |
