So, how about that for precision spotting from a photograph into global position coordinates.....
Some claim to be able to dowse from photographs.... Dowse just what I don't know.... But some can do pinpoint navigation...... All these useless talents.... Wasted....... | thecaptain
(2008-08-08) | Plotting this onto the ign map - it is well over 2000 metres in altitude. When I was trying to figure it out, I wanted to put it nearer the correct place, but could not believe it would be so high. My original estimate would have put it to the left of the 1920m altitude mark, which I thought way too high. So I put it down the valley a bit...... Go with first feelings..... |
