King's Quoit, Manorbier. Alignment of Quoit alongside red sandstone fault line.
sem has mentioned the line of stones alongside King's Quoit as perhaps being significant - but I wonder if they are perhaps just stones in the fault-line which have stayed upright? According to some articles I have read (sparked by sem's suggestions), this is the line of harder stones in the fault line running up the slope. |
