(2008-06-04) | Sorry, but it doesn't look like a polissoir, or polisher stone to me. I dont see how that rough groove in that stone could have been used for polishing stone axes and blades.
Looks more like a relatively modern bit of walling or doorway for a portcullis to run in. Or some other use. | holger rix
