Description Sketch of the situation during visit in April 2008:
Stones No. 2-13: Remains of the enclosure. Most probably it was of oval shape
Stones 1, 2: Moved stones probably originally part of the enclosure.
Stones 14-31: Chamber orthostats
Stones 32,33: Two remaining capstones.

General situation:
Barrow measuring approximately 26m x 10m x 2m.
Chamber size ~ 15m x 2m. Western and Eastern ends are a bit uncertain. Probably originally covered by 8 or 9 capstones (interpretation). Similar chambers often have short lateral passages connecting chamber's centre an the enclosure . This could have been located south of Stone 34 (speculation).
Chamber is nearly completely filled with moved earth of the barrow.
Only the tops of most uprights are visible. Other stones may be still covered.

Comparison of current situation (2008) with Sprockhoff (1929):
6 stones (22, 23, 26, 27, 1, 3) do not appear on the professional 1:100 drawing in Sprockhoff.
1 stone immediately south of stone 14 was not visible in 2008.

As a result of barrow's erosion enclosure stones 4,5,6 are moved to the south a bit.
