Look at the ridge of any hill going west from here, and you will see examples of what this would have been!
Other similar stones were in the area, either showing more barrows, or displaced from this location.
There is a clear mound here, and even some kerbing left.
It is a short deviation from the footpath, and we were observed for a while (without challenge) from a field to the N by a farmer in a red pick up with binoculars, so I am not sure what the proper line on access is. There is parking for a few cars at the footpath. This is not far from a bend which too many take too fast. There have been fatal accidents on this bend, so please take care, especially when leaving the location.
