They later realised, that they used a capstone to rebuild the northern narrow side (that originally has been a drywall)
The other preserved capstone is placed directly above the latter outside chamber's northern end (foreground left on this photo).
The orthostats are rearranged at right angles (to the chamber floor) in the reconstructed chamber, most probably this is not correct. As a result the distance between orthostats' upper ends became too large to put the remaining capstone back in place [March 2008]. |
