The circle and stone row are easily accessible from the R571 road. Park where the Beara Way parts company with the road (layby with 3 parking spaces) and take the pleasant path up through the woods. At a stile the circle is clearly but subtly signposted as the Beara Way comes out of the woods and veers ot the right. The circle, up on the top, has superb views of the Kenmare River. Rather ruinous, so I'd say ambiance 3, but access 4 and a great place for lunch with a view. |
