Here it is parked on the approach to the Piatra Rosie Hillforts after a 20 Km trip on treacherous dirt roads. The rest had to be done on foot.
In this case, the SUV wasn't a fashion accessory for investment bankers, but a vital tool for archeological research.
I called it the Boneshaker because it's amazing handling characteristics over the many potholes on the Romanian roads. |

(2008-04-24) | You don't mean these side car jobs from WWII that went as far as Moscow or El Alamein? Unfortunately I'm not really qualified for 2 wheels and I had my guides and gear to transport. The bike would have suffered from the potholes on the normal road and the crazy drivers. |
