(2008-04-18) | If memory serves me correctly i think it was a southerly direction similar to the direction of the first part of the farmers trackway. Although the track veers to the left the site is in a field on the right hand side of the track so as you enter the field its pretty much in front of you. | AngieLake

(2008-04-19) | LOL sorry I didn't have the land ranger map so couldn't give a clear indication, looking at the map the hill range i think is likely to be Cwmcenau (SW direction), not only that there is a burial chamber in between them that i missed :-6 | pab
(2009-02-21) | Angie, came across your 2008 question while meandering through the Portal....looking more closely, I rather think the hill is Carningli - about 4.5miles away..bearing 210 if I'm not mistaken!! Definitely on my list to visit this spring... looks like a magnificent walk and view. | AngieLake
