In my opinion what they were trying to tell us, over and over again, in hundreds of ways, is that they knew the sun was at the center of the solar system... and that they can prove it.

Magic is certainly the pertinent word, both for us and our ancestor builders. Finding something already engraved on a stone must have seemed God sent.
