Description Abu Simbel Temple of Ramses II

Detail of another photo,

something I noticed which is not necessarily obvious and doesn't even show particularly well in this photo is that you can see the clothing like a dress with tassels that this figure is wearing on their lower half.

also the arm support built from stone blocks, which may have been built after damage from the earthquake in 27BCE, these stone blocks are covered in hieroglyphics
