|Description ||These large stones are in the wall of a barn, near to Trigalle hamlet. |
Could this be the remains of the Dolmen de Trigalle, reported to have been destroyed in the early 1800s ?
| I'm sure you are right about this Martyn. What a stroke of luck that you noticed it! I'd want to go inside.... when will you visit again? Tell us what happens!|
| Not a stroke of luck Angie - years of research and my stonehunting instinct !!! |
No idea when I will next be in the area - it may be quite some time, and I am normally in a rush when I am in this region, usually with just a few hours befoer the ferry leaves. What we need is a local enthusiast to help out.
Or me to get confident with my french, and try and email a few loacal history societys or something.
| Good luck. I had read the article, and I meant that it was good luck that you also noticed the barn walls, as well as looking in fields, etc. |
