| Posted Comments: thecaptain (2007-12-31) | Unfortunately, this stone seems to be becoming victim to modern mechanical hedgecutting methods - a problem many of the ancient stones suffer from hese days. | stonesavant (2008-01-21) | In my opinion this is basin stone and is turned up on its edge. I think it was probably a quern, perhaps used for magical rituals. Someone would have to excavate it to determine its original situation. |
