About 30 years ago I had a birthday picnic in one of this hut circles. It would have been a bit cold that October as I can remember we had to keep our coats on and the picnic didn't last very long. It was a family custom that our children and us could choose what treat we had for our birthday and this was mine. I have lived in Australia since 1980 and have megalithic sized boulders in rivers to stand in awe of instead. Ancient sites help you keep a perspective on things.
