apologies, I have a little hair to split here.
The listings for Kemyel A and C actually portray the same stone. On a recent survey myself and Knap located what we beleive to be Kemyel A situated adjacent to the farmyard at kemyel farm, within 50 m of the footpath. It is a 5ft, uniform pillar with what appears to be a small, neat cross incised on the western face. Given the close proximity of stones within the Lamorna plateau cluster, mix ups are not surprising. |
| Posted Comments: Bladup (2012-11-08) | This isn't Kemyel A, it's an un-named stone at SW457248 and is right next to the farm. | Andy B (2012-11-08) | Perhaps this was intended to be Kemyel C ? | Bladup (2012-11-08) | Kemyel C is in the middle of a field and is a lot bigger than this, it's stones galore around there, i've been to this un-named stone and it's nearest to Kemyel A which is another bigger one and in the next field, and kemyel B a little one close by. |
