(2007-11-26) | Never been there myself but Aubrey Burl describes it in his "Four Posters" BAR195 (1988) & has suggested that the 4Poster tradition started in this part of the world, developing out of RSCs, and has pointed at 'transitional' circles such as Raich, Shethin & South Ythsie, the latter probably being the most impressive. | wiccaman9
(2007-11-27) | Lived in Aberdeenshire for a while, been in Moray area for 11 years. I will agree with you - South Ythsie is a fine 4 poster!
