| Posted Comments: AngieLake (2007-11-01) | They look like the over-long legs of three little figures to me. | wiccaman9 (2007-11-01) | Most researchers call them a triple-oval, but they often are very elongated, and all 3 are placed together. The 3 are said to represent the holy trinity by some people. Others refer to the 3 figures as indicating a BRACELET, rather like a torque. With these being proto-pictish ie the earliest carved images, I would be more inclined to think PAGAN symbolism. If you look at the abstract flower, the image of the triple oval is more clear.
