These are the stones on the western side of the restored circle. In the foreground is the fourth stone in the circle, counting clockwise from north (upright), next is the fifth stone (leaning inwards), then the sixth (upright), then the seventh (leaning anti-clockwise), and on the right at the back the eighth (upright). The soil around these stones has been worn away by the cattle and sheep that use the stones as scratching posts. |
