This is the first stone (the "north-east stone) in the circle, counting clockwise from north. It is lying flat on the ground, having fallen outwards. The monument's scheduling says "This stone circle was recorded and partly reconstructed by the local land-
owner and antiquary, F R Rodd, in 1889", so presumably this stone has fallen since 1889. |
