(2007-10-01) | when i was at termessos back in 2003 i found my way into one of these huge cisterns but not through the hole in the roof (which mostly had bars over) and can remember seeing one of those arches which you can see in the darkness of the hole towering above me with a great heap of spoil/rubblish coming down through it at about 45degrees from the hole in the roof.
I would have been tempted to look a little further than i did if I would have had a torch with me. |
