Central Hıll (Tell or Höyük) of ancıent settlement of this town dating back to at least 1300 BCE.
As there is a famous mosque at the site ın this extremely fundamentalist town as well as ruins of a middle ages Turkish Seljuk Palaceş not to mentıon a playground, on the man made hill, it is unlikey there will be excavations there anytime soon.
Alladdın isn't the chap with the lamp, but the fırst ruler of substance among the Turks who started major buıldıng projects such as mosques, caravanseraıs and brıdges. |
