A tip off from the information board outside St Digain's Church was the source (keep an eye out for these boards - they're very useful!). I found the reference to the well on my OS Map, and it's on a hillside in pasture. I wasn't sure if I found it at the time, but reading Coflein's entry since, that it's under a small stone covering, I must have been practically stood on it when I took this picture of a depression in ground which water ran through... |
