What a wonderful way of presenting the 2 boards! If I remember rightly, they were back-to-back? I hope someone is going to be at this site for the equinox - I am sure the alignment will justify an early morning visit...

I tried to find the site page by entering the words on the notice in the 'Search' box, but we have it filed with a hyphen: 'Penrhos-Feilw', which meant it wouldn't open. Can this be amended to help locate the site page more easily? (Also, 'Meini Hirion' throws up another site in Wales with two standing stones. Is this what it means in Welsh??)

Angie, yes, it literally just means long stones: 'meini' is the plural of 'maen', meaning stone - with 'hir' (long) changed to match the plural. Don't be distracted by the Middle Earth use of 'hirion', referring to streams - you would get very lost!

Changed the spelling and hyphen added to ensure tie up with the correct page. If you submit image from the main site page, all the polava with spellings etc are bypassed... cheers :o)
