Access to this stone circle is more difficult than the map suggests.I took a circuitous route and,approaching from the south-west, across the fields I saw a circular patch of hay in a recently mown meadow.The tallest stone,at one metre,lies near the centre.This image was taken from inside the circle looking south past the central stone.Most of the other stones are hidden in the vegetation. |
